Research
Our independent Max Planck research group "Theory of Quantum Matter" is located at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany. Our research focus lies at the intersection of theoretical solid state and atomic physics. We are particularly interested in the theoretical description of the interaction of excitons and electrons in van-der Waals materials as a resource to engineer novel states of matter.
